Derik was a week old yesterday! I can hardly believe it!
I tell ya this kid gets more adorable every time I see him.
We babysat last night for the first time while Amber & Eric went and saw a movie. He’s such a good baby so happy and content!
This is the very first award I’ve won since I started scrapbooking and created a web-page. Now long, long ago…….I had a web-page, a simple one by today’s standards. It housed a few pages of information about me, and my family had a few photo’s on it. I eventually expanded it to included information about about our homeschooling and even had a POW page for my Mom’s cousin who is POW/MIA. I won a couple little awards on that page. But I haven’t gotten an award in years! I’m so honored that people take the time to even visit my page! That someone would like it enough to give it an award is a little mind boggling but alas here’s my beautiful award!

Well now that that’s done….Let me tell you about this amazing little man!!!
There is no way I’ll ever be able to say no to that sweet heart! We went and saw him last night and he’s still beautiful! He was more awake and alert Eric and Amber are ready for a break (Ha! This is just the beginning….they have NO idea!) But I’ll be babysitting for a few hours this evening…..I must remember to take my camera home!!!!

He is Derik Xarles born March 29th at 6:16am. He weighed 8 pounds 11 1/2 ounces and is 21 inches long!
Just holding him was the most amazing thing, and brought tears to my eyes!
